Alainne DD Mousse Weightless Mousse Foundation(Walnut)- Review

Hey everyone!!!

During the summer season I really like to use light weight bb creams or foundations because they are easy to use and does not look caky, also it does not take lot of time to blend. Keeping all these things in mind I got a new mousse foundation from the brand called Alainne, they believe that Daily exposure to dust and irritants exhausts the skin, leaving it little time to heal. Alainne helps counter this with products extraordinaire that offer skincare along with absolute repair and nourishment. Scroll down to read more about this DD Mousse Foundation.

My Take:

The outer cover has velvet black and rose gold combination on which golden color Alainne logo and DD mousse name written. The other sides of the box have more details about the product like ingredients, manufacturing date, price, and few other directions to use this product. Inside this box you get a rose gold tube which has matte black screw cap, it looks very classy. On tube also, you get most of the information which is on the outer box. I am in shade walnut which I believe is for fair to medium skin tone. The other shade is Maple which is supposed to be for dark skin tone but as the shade walnut is way too light I wonder whether Maple will suit dusky skin or not (I have not tried Maple shade). It has powdery scent but fades off after application. The consistency is exactly like mousse, very light and easy to blend. It blends into powder hence it is good for oily skin. Combination skin people can also use it but make sure to moisturize your face prior. I will not suggest this product for dry skin as it will enhance dry patches. It looks pretty light on my skin but after a minute is matches to my skin tone as it has self-adjusting properties. It gives matte finish and minimizes pores. Also, it is mineral base and paraben free. On normal skin it last for 5 hours which is good. Click here to watch demo of this product. Overall it is a good foundation for summers.

Pros:

  • Light weight
  • Easy to blend
  • Gives matte finish
  • Last for 5hours
  • Medium coverage
  • Paraben free
  • Has SPF

Cons:

  • Not for dry skin
  • Only two shades
  • Price is on higher side
