Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is just around the corner and I am so excited because after 6 years me and my brother will be together on Rakhi 😀 Since I have moved to Bangalore we did not get chance to meet on Raksha Bandhan, so this one is gonna be super fun 😀
Raksha Bandhan is one of our major festivals which usually occurs in the month of Shravana, which typically falls in August. This year Rakhi is on 7th August which will be followed by my birthday 12th August 😀 Raksha bandhan means “bond of protection”. The festival celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters. On Raksha Bandhan, a sister ties a rakhi (sacred thread) on her brother’s wrist with a prayer for his prosperity and happiness. This symbolizes the sister’s love. The brother gives her a token gift and a promise to protect her.
So I am all set for shopping, coming weekend I will go to buy some rakhi for my brother and cousins. Also I am planning to buy some gifts for them. I have short listed few gadgets lets see which one I will end up buying 🙂
For this occasion I have done a makeup look for beginners, which is very easy and quick to do, I know I say this in my every single video because I believe that makeup should be done quickly yet it should look graceful because I believe in looking graceful rather than perfect 😉 So let’s see the makeup tutorial:
